Completely misleading title! The title of this book is "600 AIR FRYER Recipes", yet all the recipes are for a pressure cooker! Boo! Hiss!

Looking for Air Fryer recipes? This book is about cooking with the "Instant Pot" which is not just an air fryer. The title is very misleading.

The book says air fryer but what I got was instant pot recipes. Not complaining because it was a free download and I do have a pressure cooker.

I'm a happy camper. I discovered this recipe book also has nutritional information which, to me, is wonderful since I'm specifically using my air fryer to cook healthier meals with no or little oil. (I'm dieting). I think what makes this air fryer cookbook unique is that it has many "foreign" recipes, in particular Middle Eastern ones, which I really enjoy eating out, but haven't had any kind of recipe book to make at home. So, this book has many wonderful recipes that should fit anybody's palate. I personally think this cookbook might be slightly better for more experienced cookers and not true beginners. In just scanning through the book, many of the recipes have over six ingredients which might be intimidating to some. I'd recommend a thorough reading of the recipe way before making, just to make sure all ingredients are available. For me, this is an absolutely superb cookbook and will be one of my go-to books when I use my air fryer.

Cookbook is poorly organized. Upon receiving it, almost every recipe that I spot-checked had unclear instructions. Apparently written by someone who is not totally familiar with English usage. Even the author's name is in question....on the front of the book it says Mary Gray, and on the back page it says Mery Gray. I planned to give the cookbook as a gift with an air fryer for Christmas, but think it would be more confusing than helpful for my granddaughter, who is new to cooking.

I would return it if I could, but I waited too long. Let me first say that I work with websites. Aesthetics are a thing. This book gets an F. There is no logical flow and the text and there are no images to guide the reader. In addition, the instructions seem to skip steps. The grammar is poor and makes me question the accuracy of the text.My biggest issue with the book is with the measurements. I've already stated that I work with websites. Keeping that in mind, I am not a chemist, scientist or mathematician by any stretch of the imagination. This leads to my biggest issue with the book. Partial ounce measurements for dry ingredients. One recipe which comes to mind called for .34oz of sugar. I don't know anyone who measures dry ingredients in partial ounces; without a scientific scale, I'm not even sure how to get an accurate measurement of .34oz. Going back to my previous comment regarding the accuracy of the text based on poor writing, I question if this is supposed to be 3/4 or .34. A minor blunder such as this could destroy a meal.Unless you have classroom science class equipment laying around your kitchen, this book is probably not the one you are looking for.

Expectations met on these air fryer recipes. There are recipes that can be done even without the air fryer. Some can be done on an instant pot. I still like to use this AF though. It's handy and efficient.

Not at all useful to a new air fryer owner. You’ll be happier watching videos. I have no interest in preparing 95% of the recipes. Nice book.

Great Book. If you want to deepen your relationship with God and strengthen your prayers this is the book to read. I absolutely love this book.

This book is so inspiring and awesome. Lifechanging for anyone who really wants to get closer to God. A good book for ladies to use in a bookclub, or for any prayer ministry to follow when they meet. I'm digesting each chapter and internalising slowly.

I'm on my second time through this book. It has enriched my prayer life in more ways than I can imagine. I have had more answered prayers than I thought possible. Amazing answers to prayer. If you feel your prayers are not going above the ceiling you need to read this book. I have recommended to everyone I know and they each one have loved it. This year for Christmas this will be the most priceless gift under the tree. It truly is the gift that keeps on giving.

This is an amazing book. It has inspired my soul. Renewed my faith and revitalized my pray life. It's a must read.

Just getting started, but seems like it's going to be excellent! I have faith in this author (highly recommended) that what she presents will be helpful to me. (If it turns out differently, I'll be back to update.)

too much mistakes!this book could be better. look at the sample answers for chapter 8 alone. i have found more while reading it! the cost of this book is way too much for the mistakes.the content is however more than sufficient for the review but watch out for the mistakes!

Used for my 6-week CNA class. Didn't really use this book. I used the other more due to us doing hands on skills most of the course. Loved my teacher at HCC! This is a book for extra help. I am not sure if you'll use it during your class, but I didn't. Did help me on practice written test questions for the final though!

It is what I had to get for school. Nothing more but I like having it on phone makes it easier to carry around.

A lot of outdated science and methods. Not organized in the most usable manner. Much better tools are available, but this is sadly the required text for the course.

This book is easy reading and understandable. The colored pictures and detailed. A lot of information for Certified Nursing Assistance or to jump start a career in Nursing to be ahead of the game. Or, if you are just interested in the human body. Head first and enjoy

Best book to read if you want to get insight into the reign of the Orange Apprentice. The parallels, as well are the differences, will keep you thinking every day.

I thoroughly enjoyed Alexander Stille's 'Sack of Rome' in the same way I did one of my all-time favorite books, Peter Robb's Midnight in Sicily: On Art, Food, History, Travel and la Cosa Nostra. Each work gives us fascinating analysis of Italy's political system by a native English speaker. Robb's complex protagonist is Giulio Andreotti, while Stille's focus is the mother lode that is Silvio Berlusconi. Unlike Robb, Stille's no mere foreign visitor: his father, Ugo Stille, was former editor of Corriere della Sera, a notable holdout against Berlusconi's hegemonic advances through Italian media.The caustic venality of Berlusconi's takeover of government and the sputtering of Italy when the wheels start coming off around the time of the book's 2007 publication is depressing in its familiarity: here we sit six years later and Berlusconi - even when not ostensibly in the driver's seat - continues to dominate the stage with his machinations. Even in a world where "Bunga Bunga Party" and "Ruby Heartstealer" have entered the global 'wink wink, nudge nudge' lexicon, Berlusconi seems impermeable to both shame and loss of influence.Stille's triumph as a writer is to give the non-Italian reader a sense of why this guy is no mere buffoon. While the book broadly hints at the nefarious roots of Berlusconi's business empire, it also lays credit at his undeniable success and talent at business. For example, when television was being deregulated it was "Berlusconi [who grabbed] this historic moment for the Italian economy and -- underestimated by everyone -- starts out on his own with an extraordinary idea. Companies found an incredibly strong anchor in television advertising in order to address the consumer. And Berlusconi -- as an entertainer -- understood what they wanted. [T]he key to Berlusconi's success in television is that he approached it from the opposite angle to his competitors'. The book publishers thought that the key to television was editorial content; Berlusconi understood that that the lifeblood of television is advertising."He also elicits some great stories from his early employees about "The Doctor's" winning, convivial personality and salesmanship. Here's a passage I loved that is emblematic of that Berlusconi:-----Being in shape, looking good, feeling well, liking yourself are keys to a radiant self-confidence. "You must have the sun in your pocket," he told his salesmen. "We must have a warm heart and the sun in our pockets. Because we must give this sun to others, it must always be there ready at hand, so that we can offer it, with a smile, to the person we have in front of us. Not only to our clients, but to all those around us, our officemates, our loved ones; remember this, when we go home the sun must enter with us, our loved ones expect it, they live waiting for it.... When we enter a room people must see and feel a positive, true presence.... With a smile, a gesture, a word, we must give to others what we have inside.... Along with the sun in our pocket for others, we must have one for ourselves as well, our own personal sun. Only this way can we have self-esteem, can we be satisfied and happy. Therefore, `the sun in your pocket' always."-----And, from those days, Stille brings forth person after person who can testify that no one lived these words more fully than The Doctor himself. One particularly memorable story has Berlusconi remembering a small personal detail about a mid-level executive:"With all the commitments and problems he has, to remember me...it was one of those messages and attitudes from which you can really learn something. After something like that you realize the effect that remembering the birthday of your clients and their families can have."And for those of us here who look at Berlusconi as some sort of purely Italian phenomenon and eye-rolling joke, Stille offers these sobering, trenchant words about America's own political backyard:"The formula Berlusconi developed -- money + media + celebrity = political power -- is the winning formula in many advanced democracies, not least in the United States. With the dominance of television in politics, money has arguably never mattered more in our political life. The billionaire in politics -- Ross Perot, Steve Forbes, New York mayor Mike Bloomberg -- has become an unsurprising figure in American political life, multimillionaires able to finance their own campaigns are commonplace. Bloomberg spent $75 million to become the mayor of New York. The personal fortune allows an otherwise unknown person with little or no political experience to immediately dominate the political campaign by buying massive amounts of television time."

If you want to read about a slick political sociopath this is your book. Berlesconi is a charming snake oil salesman without a conscience who ran for and won Italy's highest office because he wanted to maintain his dominant position with his three TV stations and avoid possibly going to jail. The author tries valiantly to be balanced but given Berlusconi's consistently dishonest, wheeler dealer behavior it was a tough job. It's worth reading because Berlesconi is doing exactly what the Koch brothers and others like them are doing here in the US. To know him is to know them. That is, rules don't count and money and power is all.

I hope this is not the future of democracy becasue I find it scary to contemplate. A well written, hard-to-put down book that is not difficult to follow. I found the last chapter particularly interesting as it pertains to US politics.Younger American readers who do not remember a less politicized media atmosphere may well wonder what the fuss is all about: Fox is the norm to them, and to many, the print media is a bastion of the left. If anything, the book reminds us that there is a difference between fact and opinion. A very timely read and, for those of us who love Italy, a very upsetting view of what politics in Italy has become.The only fault I found with the book is some repetition from chapter to chapter with respect to examples/quotes, although this may be because the chapters could have been printed separately in various publications. Still a worthwhile read.

I lived in Italy from 97-2005 I left because it was getting hard to live there. Silvio is a charming personality you love him even though you knew what he is. The book gave me a better understanding of what and why things became hard financially.

I recived the book from Amazon just a short while ago. I started it and could hardly put it down. What an incredible job Stille has done!To make order and organize all the material, on this endless italian tragedy, must have been an Herculean task. The story is told with clarity and rivetingprose, with richness of facts and documentation and from a perspective that is historical and not detached, caring and profoundly analytical. This book is of great relevance not only for Italian readers but for Americans as well.I agree with the author through the whole book and admire his work. I thank him for it.

Well worth reading, a bit of a scientific classic. It is interesting to see how much was known and speculated about the likely nature of the carrier of genetic information, even before DNA was discovered. The author also has some interesting philosophical and religious speculations, though he remains grounded in the scientific consensus of the day, for the most part. This relatively short and inexpensive book should become part of any scientifically literate person's background reading, IMHO.

In this review the focus is on Schrodinger's influence in bringing together physics and biology, which continues today. In effect he indirectly encourages such things as current genetics and neurology, which can be seen in the work of researchers like James D. Watson, the co-discoverer of the double helix orientation of DNA, and also the cutting edge neurological work of Antonio Damasio and embodied cognitive science. As in Schrodinger, they inevitably end up in the next stage after physics and biology coalesce, which is to say, cultural and ethical territory. Any reader of What is Life? can see this coming. Schrodinger is still good reading today in diverse interdisciplinary fields. He was indeed a man far ahead of his time.

He goes to great length to look at the atoms and molecules of DNA and builds an argument statistically about them and how they build the genome,but it's hard for a lay person to understand. It seems like they violate the rules of chance but I'm not sure. It almost seems like he isn't sure either. I will have to go back and read it again because often my mind and eyes just glaze over.It's a hard read but worth it to get a physicists perspective on a deeply philosophical subject.Schrodinger's cat in Wikipedia is a good read about his mind.

Schrödinger's What is Life? Is a classic. In spite of the new advancements in genetics that supersede some of the notions addressed, this book remains fundamental to science and for anyone with an interest in biology, physics and chemistry.Published in 1944, nine years before the discovery of the structure of DNA, this book was written after a series of lectures given by Erwin Schrödinger. It is intended to the general reader, as it offers detailed explanation of the topics, however, it must be read carefully because of the complexity of the issues. Schrödinger answers the question of how can physics and chemistry explain the events that take place in living organisms. As a physicist's he is very humble, given that he is approaching a topic outside of his expertise area, however his insight is brilliant. He makes a theoretical prediction and based on sound arguments he proposes an "aperiodic crystal" that contains genetic information.This reprint edition is completed with a nice preface by physicist Roger Penrose, but the highlight is the accompanying text Mind and Matter, also by Schrödinger. This offers a great finale, with a philosophical discourse dealing with consciousness, free will and determinism.

This is another great work of Erwin Schrodinger which gives an insight into the biology of life from a physicist's perspective that inspired scientists like; Francis Crick who discovered the structure of DNA, J.B.S. Haldane, and Roger Penrose. It is clear from this work and other books of Schrodinger that he was one of the few physicists who deeply thought of the inner most secrets of life. This book is divided into two parts: What's Life (7 chapters) and Mind and Matter (6 chapters).The physicist's most dreaded weapon, the mathematical deduction can not be used for life because it is too complex to be accessible to equations. The orderliness required for the preservation of life does not come by the random heat motions of atoms and molecules, but statistical averages that provide order. Schrodinger asks a simple question; why is life made of so many atoms and not just a few. He offers three examples; higher magnetic fields, increase in molecular population and the error introduced into a reaction rate constant or any other physical parameter would be far too great if only few molecules are involved to form life. Hence orderliness, and of course evolution and diversity of life, requires very large population of molecules.The world is a construct of our sensations, perceptions, memories; all existing objectively and all scientific knowledge is based on sense of perception and nonetheless the scientific views of material processes formed in this way lack all sensual qualities and can not account for the latter. Theories that are developed from scientific observations of experiments never account for sensual qualities. The sentient, percipient and thinking ego does not figure anywhere in our world picture, because it is itself the world picture. It is identified with the whole and not part of it. The physical world lacks all the sensual qualities that go to make the subject of cognizance. It is colorless, soundless, and impalpable. The world is deprived of everything that makes sense in its in relation to the consciously contemplating, perceiving, and feeling the subject; no personal god can form part of world model that has only became accessible at the cost of removing everything personal from it. God is missing from spacetime picture like sense of perception or ones own personality. Consciousness never experienced in plural only in the singular, and plurality is merely a series of different aspect of one soul and one conscious produced by a deception (Maya). There is no multiplicity of minds; in reality and truth there is only one mind.Before and after is not a quality of the world we perceive but pertains to the perceiving mind and don't imply the notion of space and time. After relativity, the notion of before and after reside on the cause and effect relationship. The general directedness of all happenings is explained by the mechanical or statistical theory of heat. The Second Law of Thermodynamics states that order changes to disorder but not disorder to order, and time travels in one direction from past to future, but not future to past. The statistical theory of time has a stronger bearing on the philosophy of time than theory of relativity. The latter presupposes unidirectional flow of time while statistical theory constructs from order of events.My body functions according to laws of nature, but I direct body motions. The word "I" means to state that I who control the motion of the atoms and molecules according to the Laws of Nature. The uncertainty principle and the lack of causal connection in nature introduce certain features into physical reality. For example, we can not make any factual statement about a physical system without interacting with it which would change the physical state of the system. This explains why no complete description of any physical object is ever possible. These laws have pushed the boundary between the subject and object. In fact subject and object are only one, and no barrier exists. It is the same element that goes to compose my mind and the world. The situation is the same for every mind and its world, in spite of the unfathomable abundance of cross references between them. The world is given to me only once, not one existing and one perceived.The last chapter gives brief autobiographical sketches of Schrodinger translated by his granddaughter.
